Mount Beauty Secondary College is a proud school where each and every student has a place. To enrol into Year 8 – Year 12 at Mount Beauty Secondary College, please contact the College Office on (03) 5754 4005 to arrange an enrolment meeting with our Assistant Principal. An enrolment package including the relevant College Information Booklet and Enrolment Forms, can be obtained via the College Office prior to, or on the day of the meeting.

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.  

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. Your school zone is determined based on your permanent residential address.  

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their local school. Students may enrol at another school if there are available places.

Year 7 enrolments  

All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Year 6 to 7 placement timeline.   

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child at a Victorian government secondary school. Applications for Year 7 open at the start of Term 2.   

Victorian government primary schools manage the Year 7 placement process for their Year 6 students in accordance with the timeline. At the start of Term 2, primary schools will distribute information packs to parents and carers.

Transition between Primary and Secondary School is very important and making the right choice for your child can ensure future successes. At Mount Beauty Secondary College our Transition Program is aimed at providing students, and their families, with a positive experience, allowing plenty of opportunities to explore our school and discover what it will be like in Year 7.

Transition events include

• Orientation Day (state-wide)
